There are so many deals around and it's difficult to separate the hype from the actual bargains. That's why we've done the legwork below.

You should have put Eluktronics on your list. Why is it always the big guys and no love for the small vendors?

Buy Gigabyte if you want a product from a company that is on its last leg.

Asus (when I had mine) was well built but poorly designed and performed poorly.

While not as well built (sturdy), I find my HP Omen to perform incredibly well. Glad I traded the Zephyrus for the Omen. Omen has two upgradable RAM slots and two nvme slots. Cooling is phenomenal. It's not a 3080 but the 3070 is sufficient for what I play.

Because they are really Scalpers and not retailers that use Bots to resell on places like Amazon. The same Omen 30L desktop I purchased from Amazon for $1999, those guys are selling it for $3499. That’s a $1500 markup.

As I said last week on the 3070 article. What about Medion - I'm really happy with my Beast (apart from the name - that's a bit naff) - solid metal chassis, nice screen, 2xnvme, speakers aren't great but it's very thin and light for a 17".

MSI's stealth series has had two NVM.e slots for years now as well. Agree that two NVM.e slots are a must. Good choice.

Unfortunately cutting down on upgradable slots seems to be an increasing trend.

The Alienware X15 R2 price is incorrect. $2149 is the price for the RTX 3060 / i7-12700H model. The RTX 3080 ti / i9-12900H model is $3449.
